This week, we hosted a bloggers breakfast at The Orangery in Kensington Palace Gardens.
The stunning venue – which dates back to the 1700’s – provided the perfect start to the day and was eagerly awaited by a select few hungry bloggers.
The table was all set with The Orangery’s finest china and it wasn’t long before the menu was being poured over and the difficult decisions were being made. Collectively we all went for the classics and dishes were instantly being cooed at when they arrived and it wasn’t long before the cameras were out – busily snapping away before the food went cold!
The table was filled with breakfast dishes from the Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale with chervil hollandaise to the Full English with streaky bacon, field mushroom, vine tomatoes, Cumberland sausage, black pudding and scrambled free-range eggs. But it was the Hot Waffles with caramel apples and cinnamon cream that really got the highest praise. Indulgent? Completely.
And totally worth it.
Breakfast is served from 10 – 12pm. The Orangery is also open for lunch and Afternoon Tea.
