Jar Kitchen will be spicing up our Mondays with an exciting supper club series: LAND. AIR. FIRE. EARTH. SEA. Launching on 6 June, the series will showcase Jar Kitchen’s fantastic suppliers and will pay homage to quality British produce.
Tickets cost £50 (includes nibbles, food and drinks parings):
Covent Garden’s favourite (and our favourite too) Jar Kitchen has just announced some exciting news – they’ll be launching their Bottomless Brunch tomorrow. Available every Saturday from 10am guests can tuck into some of the restaurant’s most popular dishes… and of course copious amounts of Prosecco – it’s UNLIMITED.
Menu highlights include Ox cheek & cheddar croquettes; Mixed grain salad with roast chantenay carrots, JK yoghurt, pomegranate and almonds. No brunch would be complete without Jar Kitchen’s Smashed avocado, lime, poached eggs, chilli, sourdough; and their moreish Chocolate brownie, rhubarb, chantilly cream.
No plans this Saturday? Head to Covent Garden (and possibly stumble home)… thank us later!
This week, the wonderful Jar Kitchen celebrated their first birthday and did so in true JK style… with a big ol’ party!
We went along to join in the celebrations – and of course, sample their delicious party nibbles and drinks! We couldn’t get enough of their Ox Cheek & Cheddar Croquettes and Walter Rose Pork Belly Bites so much so we may have started stalking the waiters for them…! There were also plenty of meats and cheeses from JK suppliers Cannon & Cannon and Neals Yard respectively to help line our stomachs as we sipped on their Mescaloma cocktail (a feisty concoction of Mezcal & Grapefruit) and delicious G&Ts.
By the time we left, the party was still in full swing – filled to the brim with those that love Jar Kitchen as much as we do.
A huge congratulations to Lucy, Jenny and the whole JK team – here’s to many more years ahead!
Last month we hosted an intimate bloggers breakfast at the beautiful Jar Kitchen on Drury Lane.
We handpicked a select few bloggers to come and try the new breakfast menu that the restaurant had recently launched. On the menu included: Wiltshire Sausage, JK Kimchi, Beetroot Ketchup, Fried Egg & Coriander; Oat Porridge, Vanilla Cream, Cocoa Nibs, Chia & Banana; and the JK Full English (Bacon, Eggs, Mushrooms, Black Pudding, JK Baked Beans and Toast). But the highlights from the morning were undoubtedly the Earl Grey Cured Salmon on buttermilk flatbread in good company with smashed avocado & poached egg and the Pork Belly paired with Baharat spiced baked beans, tamarind chutney and a poached egg – the two dishes took command of the table and went down a storm.
But not before being instagrammed – of course!
Breakfasts were washed down with loose teas, fresh juices, coffee and a large jar of Blackberry & Rosemary Fizz – a perfect accompaniment to give your tastebuds a refresh! Ending on a delicate sweet note, we sampled some of the Granola pots with yogurt and topped with the most beautiful Yorkshire rhubarb.
Quite the start to the day we needed – have you been for breakfast at Jar Kitchen yet?
