Last month we hosted an intimate bloggers breakfast at the beautiful Jar Kitchen on Drury Lane.

We handpicked a select few bloggers to come and try the new breakfast menu that the restaurant had recently launched. On the menu included: Wiltshire Sausage, JK Kimchi, Beetroot Ketchup, Fried Egg & Coriander; Oat Porridge, Vanilla Cream, Cocoa Nibs, Chia & Banana; and the JK Full English (Bacon, Eggs, Mushrooms, Black Pudding, JK Baked Beans and Toast). But the highlights from the morning were undoubtedly the Earl Grey Cured Salmon on buttermilk flatbread in good company with smashed avocado & poached egg and the Pork Belly paired with Baharat spiced baked beans, tamarind chutney and a poached egg – the two dishes took command of the table and went down a storm.

But not before being instagrammed – of course!


Breakfasts were washed down with loose teas, fresh juices, coffee and a large jar of Blackberry & Rosemary Fizz – a perfect accompaniment to give your tastebuds a refresh! Ending on a delicate sweet note, we sampled some of the Granola pots with yogurt and topped with the most beautiful Yorkshire rhubarb.
